When I copy a text format to multiple lines in word and paste them in Coreldraw, in trying to resize the rows completely change the line spacing. This defect is present from the first versions of Coreldraw. There is a parameter that allows to not have this problem in the personalization of the text? The only solution I found is to copy the text from Word and paste it into notepad so 'to cancel formatting. Once pasted into Corel, the text resizes correctly.
Tks
Text from word is always a real pain. Somebody last week managed to completely break a web page by pasting two lines of text from a word document into it. So its not just CorelDraw that has a problem with it.
One possible solution for CorelDraw would be for it to automate the "paste via notepad" operation so that you just paste and select the "unformatted" option, that itself opens notepad, pastes the text into it, copies it back to the clipboard, closes notepad and pastes the text into CorelDraw.
What Harry said - Word is a long-standing, well-known problem for a lot of programs. It mostly has to do with extra formatting codes Word insists on embedding.
Pasting into Notepad or another text editor cleans it right up, just as you say. Or you could try "Paste special" instead of just "Paste." It gives a text option.
Ok then it was as I thought. I will continue to be using the block notes
