Hi,
We tried to use the WhatTheFont function in coreldraw x5 and it popped up with:
"This hotkey is being used already by this system
Please choose another one."
I worked out that it was an error from capture x5 and when I loaded that to change the hotkey, no matter which one I picked it popped up the same error when trying to capture.
I even tried some ridiculous ones like Ctrl+Alt+[Letter] and still got the error.
This is running on a Windows 7 64 bit computer with Corel SP3 installed
I get similar rewards for trying. This is the popup I get:
Which, when you look at it, is not terribly literate. There's a period missing after "system," and "being used already" is a little juvenile in structure.
How did you determine this comes from Capture? I find that Capture works just fine within Draw using its default [F7] hotkey, and that there is no hotkey associated with WTF in Customization. Adding a hotkey, Ctrl-Alt-Shift W, to WTF creates no conflicts, yet trying to use it gets me the same popup.
I'm wondering if this is a Windows issue.
I had the same issue with the hotkey until I tried a trial version of snag-it. I thought I had uninstalled it a long while back but the trial download said that my version had expired. I went and deleted any reference to techsmith in the registry and rebooted the machine.
Voila- shift F7 worked. Hope this helps.
I have Corel xdraw4 on Windows 7 64 bit. Works great.
You do realize that this is the CorelDRAW X5 forum, not the X4?
