Hi,
I'm a complete newbie and am working with a file at work. They're asking me if the color tone is right. I have no idea where to find out the color values are in the file. I see that in the lower right-hand corner has a color profile, but it says sRGB IEC61966-2.1 No RGB or CMYK color values.
Could someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
Hello greenspark; I have never used X5 but in X4, X6 and X7 you can select the Eye Droper Tool and hover it over what you want to know the color of and it will show you.
George
Thanks so much George! That is exactly what I was looking for!
Btw, can I ask you how you managed to post those pictures in your reply? Did you use PrintScreen, or...?
Thanks so much again! You are a lifesaver!

Hello greenspark; I used Corel Capture, just get the screen to show what you want to capture then press F7 ( for the standard capture setup ) it will copy it to the clip board then you can just Paste it in Corel ( Ctrl+v ). It's a nice little tool for sure. The screen shot above is two captures grouped together to export as a PNG file. To post the file in your POST click on the little move film icon.
Hi George,
I don't think I have Corel Capture. Is it just part of the program itself? It looks very handy, indeed!
Could I trouble you with one more question?
How do I measure the exact dimensions of an object in my file? I can see the rulers, but it's not precise enough. I might be off by a mm or two. I just want to know the exact measurements of a box item in my file.
Thanks so much!
It's no trouble, Corel Capture is One of the programs that is bundled with Corel. It has to be run separate from DRAW or PP. It is as the screen shot below.
