pdf import is being distorted when changing the x coordinates

After importing a pdf into corel, the image gets distorted when I change the x coordinate. Does anyone know what would cause this?

Are you changing the X Coordinate or the X Size? There are two X-Y settings that can be accomplished from the toolbar, one is the X-Y Coordinates and the other is for the X-Y size.

Then it sounds like a setting or three may be messed up, in the internal configuration file(s). The simplest way to cure that is to Close DRAW, press and hold down the F8 key and start DRAW. Then when the dialog appears, asking if you want to reset DRAW to the factory defaults, answer 'Yes'.

Note that this will reset DRAW back to its out-of-the-box state and you will lose all of your customizations, unless you save off the customizations, first.
