Using CorelDraw Home & Student X5

I want to use unicode characters (mathematical etc)

Under 'insert text symbol' I can manually search for things like Sigma (mathematical) but it shows no unicode or ascii shortcut for this.

Unicode should be 03A3 (0931 ASCII), but I cannot enter the relevant number using Alt x x x.

I can do so for other characters, but nothing beyond basic ansi,

Under 'insert text symbol' the only code pages listed are all ansi - no ascii codes or unicode.

Am I missing something?

Maybe you used custom font that just don't have that symbols.
Nevertheless you should be able to use default Windows Character Map program for having needed symbols

The font I used was Arial. I know it has the code (I can access it through the windows font browser), it just appears that CD doesn't like listing the fonts and the extended codes (or accepting them)
