svg file problem for cricut users

I could email them to you. I guess I am asking what should the settings be on exporting an svg file. There is a whole lot of settings on there. I know about not embedding text but 1:1 and all that I don't know what they should be set at.

I asked for a public link as others can see the file and comment as I might not be able to determine the problem. I use X7, don't have X4 installed and haven't used X4 in long enough that I can't remember all it's caveats.

My initial thought is that it has probably nothing to do with the export settings. Perhaps you are using an embedded bitmap or raster image in the file. This is a strict no no for cutting machines. The file has to be pure vector so the cutting blade has paths to follow. Raster or bitmap images are made of pixels not paths. Vector images are mathematical paths. This would be my first guess, that you are mixing in raster with your output. But without seeing a file displaying the problem, it is just a guess. I also don't know the Cricut software and how it would react to an svg file with an embeded bitmap.

The 1:1 option you are seeing is probably the drawing precision setting. This sets how precise to render the file, and uses more file size as you increase precision, and probably slows its render time down. 1:1 should be ok for most drawings. Complex drawings might need 1:10, 1:100 or one of the other settings.
