I've been using Corel Draw since way back and am still using Corel Draw 11.Only for one reason, the Snap to grid!
Now I want to move on to X5 and have tried all ways to make the snap snap like it did in pre 12 versions. Been googling around, searching forums etc, but still no solution.
Know what I'm talking about? Let's say I'm drawing rectangles. I want all 4 corners to snap to the grid, regardless of how uncarefully I draw them or move them around, regardless of the zoom level, with no possibility to make them snap between the grid!
Is there a solution or am I forced to use version 11 until I die? :)
Try View - Setup - Grid and Ruler setup - tick off snap to grid

But Snap to grid is what I want! Let's compare to maximum zoom in Photoshop or any other pixel based program. Thats how I want it. With no possibility to draw or move the pixels off grid while Snap is turned on. ONLY be able to place the nodes strictly on grid.
That's how to Snap to grid worked in Corel Draw until version 12.

Try increasing the value in: options / workspace / snap to objects 'snapping radius'.
How much might depend on the kind of grid you have set up and zoom level.

But that option is only for Object snapping. I want Snap to GRID! And the GRID "snapping radius" strictly set to 100%, independent of zoom level.
Guess it's impossible. Have to keep my version 11! :)
Did you try it? I did and it seemed to do what you wanted...
