I am somewhat new to CDX5 and on a VERY steep learning curve. The reason I am here is because I have searched just about everywhere I can look but seem unable to find the answer to my problem. Please bear with me as I am rather aged and somewhat decrepit and the answer is probably by quite simple.
Anyway, I have an image of a girl and I was able to powerclip the outline away from the background, however I want to remove the infill, which is a dark colour between her arms and her body. Her arms are by her side.
Also the dark colour between her legs. I need to do this to superimpose the image across another background.
How can I do this please?
The better option is to Edit the Bitmap in Corel Photo-paint.
You can select the Image in CorelDRAW, Click the Edit Bitmap Button.
In Photo-Paint, you need to use the cutout lab. Image > Cut Out Lab.
Below is a quick video I did without precision. You can get an idea of what I mean. If you take your time and highlight the edges properly, you'll get a better result.
And another tutorial found on youtube.
Well for your needs you need to use PhotoPaint from the suite. Its a bitmap editing application to edit images you intend to change. Am I pushing you to even steeper learning cruve ? LOL. But beleive me CDGS is very easy to learn and work in.
Thanks to all who gave me advice. I have been experimenting today and using Corel Photo Paint is the go.
I have been so impressed with what Corel X5 can do, I am already making serious money from this, and would consider myself relatively amateurish at this time.
Again thanks for the advice.
CorelDRAW has been a money making machine for me for last 18-19 years. Welcome to the Design factory.
