CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 How to merge layers?

How to merge layers?

I've tried googling everything, but I can't get these two layers to merge! It's so stinking annoying. Thanks for any help! [:D]

You could just select the shape/shapes and drag them to the layer you want them on then delete the unwanted layer

if the question is relative to CorelDRAW, just select all (Ctrl+A or double click over the pick tool) and group (Ctrl+G).
