Hi to all
When I open a CDR 12 file in Corel X6 all the tips of the arrows I have drawn disappear. This is a very annoying issue because my graphs contain mostly vectors.
Is there any solution to this problem?
Thank you for your immediate response.
Is this a bug? I hope that they will fix it as soon as possible because I am in the middle of a project!!!Do I have to inform someone for this bug?
I have logged a bug against the issue, thanks for bringing it to our attention. Unfortunately, it will not make it for SP1 (sorry, I don't have the dates for any service pack releases).
Regards,
Hendrik
I have the same problem. SP3 for Corel X6 64bit is installed. How to get rid of that problem?
I'm surprised that this was not fixed in one of the recent service packs.
But I think there are other possible ways of solving this:
1) Corel X6 opens without problems files saved in in Corel 14 to earlier version 9.0. Everything looks ok but after saving that file again in Corel X6 to earlier version problem again occur.
2) It seems that I cannot use x64bit version until it will be fixed.
FYI, we're looking into this and plan to have something to address it in Update 4.
I opened case 01292600 ("Arrowheads lost when opening CorelDRAW 12-created .cdr in X6"; originally opened as 01208962) for this issue back in 2012.
After much correspondence, the solution offered by Corel Support was to use the 32-bit edition of CorelDRAW X6, which showed the arrowheads; the problem was specific to the 64-bit edition. Corel Support stated in an online chat: "it is not a product defect".
Revisiting this issue in early 2017 (yes, I'm still running 32-bit X6), I see that Corel did indeed fix this problem in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6.4 Update. From the release notes:
(No mention of difference in behavior between the 32-bit and 64-bit editions.)
