I just created a file in my desktop PC with 4GB RAM, 32bit running CorelDraw x3 and accidentally my PC turned off not the files aren't opening.
I tried to open file in the same PC, tried opening the backup file as well, still no luck. I tried opening the file on CorelDraw x6 on my laptop with i3 4GB ram and 1GB graphic card, still no luck
It shows an error of I/O Error and something similar, importing the file also don't work
File is sized more like 2.6GB and has nearly 9Pages.
Please help!

If you install 7zip -- free from http://www.7-zip.org/ -- you will be able to right click on the .cdr file in windows explorer, select 7-zip and then test archive. The result will help to know whether anything might be salvaged from it.
Also try the same with the backup.
