Hi to all
When I open a CDR 12 file in Corel X6 all the tips of the arrows I have drawn disappear. This is a very annoying issue because my graphs contain mostly vectors.
Is there any solution to this problem?
I've tried saving a line with arrowtips from X6 to version 12 and re-opening it in X6 -- which works fine, but is not necessarily a good enough test on its own.
It might be useful if you could upload a small CDR file (in version 12 format) that exhibits the problem.
[In case you're not aware, uploads are possible when you do a "non-quick" reply and go to the Options tab, which supports CDR files of up to 256 Kb].

Hi.
This is right. Although down-saving will make the file compatible with the previous version it is not exactly the same.
One example: I currently down-save to 12 all the time. The thumbnails generated by X5 down-saving to 12 are are clear compared to a real cdr 12 file where they are unclear as they were before being enhanced in X4.
I just imported an actual cdr 12 file with arrows and the arrows were removed. Looks like you found a bug!

Thank you for your immediate response.
Is this a bug? I hope that they will fix it as soon as possible because I am in the middle of a project!!!Do I have to inform someone for this bug?
I have logged a bug against the issue, thanks for bringing it to our attention. Unfortunately, it will not make it for SP1 (sorry, I don't have the dates for any service pack releases).
Regards,
Hendrik
You are welcome Hendrik. I'll try to implement the issue manually. It's quite a hard work but I'll manage it ;-)Do you know when the SP1 comes out?
