Hello Guys,
I have this "particular file" in cdr x6 with approx 14-15 pages that i been working on for the last 1 month without any issues.
However since 2 days its not opening with following error message but qm able to open other cdr files.
Have tried converting to .zip but did not find riffdata, moreover had already deleted backup & temp files.

That's old (X6,1). The current version (X6,4) will begin 16.4.
That may or may not be related to your problem, but updating (help > updates from the CorelDraw menu) is the first thing to try.

You will not find riffdata in any X6 (or X7) file. That recommendation comes from earlier versions.
You can try creating a new document and importing the old file into it. That sometimes works.Next thing I'd try is to find the file in windows explorer, right click on it, go to properties > previous versions and see if windows has kept a backup copy. Again, only a small chance and the previous version might have the same problem, but it's quick to try.If the file isn't confidential, you can post it here for testing -- up to 512Kb use rich text reply and the insert media icon. Above 512Kb you'll need to put it somewhere like dropbox and post a link.
