Exporting Image with transparent background to use as image in AutoCad Inventor

Hey guys,


Please be patient with me cause I am new to this forum :)

I am trying to export a image from Corel X6 with a transparent background so that the image can be used as on a design in Inventor. I have no problems exporting the image (png), but as soon as I import the image into Inventor it does not maintain its transparency. What alternative option is there to be able to manage that?

Should I try exporting it in a different file format? I have also tried exporting to a DXF & DWG (which are supposed to be AutoCad formats) but Inventor does not allow those either?

Would appreciate some help here?
