CorelDraw x7 has the same issues as those discussed in "Latest CorelDraw X6 update BROKE output of WMF files (Windows MetaFile)" i.e. closing opened curves.
But also it produces poor quality EMFs. The lines are fine but the text letter spacing is bad, word have odd spacing, letters that are contained in a box in the CDR spill out in the EMF, words flow together etc. All in all the file is useless.
Has anyone else noticed this issue?
I have no use for an emf but I can understand your concern. See below. Simple Arial Bold with rectangle exported as emf then imported back.

I can show you my issues but how should I upload a file and should it be the Word file with the WMF and EMF imbedded, a PDF of the page, or something else?
Also, when I export as EPS in x7 and x4 the header comes into MS Word with lines through all the flowchart boxes. If I PDF the page with Print to PDF the PDF file looks great and text is searchable but the TOC bookmarks don't work. If I used Create PDF which I have to use to keep the TOC links the EPS looks like the header (with lines through boxes.
