On occasions I can't recall where I have put an image when I was last working on it - yep I know but I am old ...
So I open it by Open Recent
I would have expected if I go to the Properties option for that file it would show the Path, however it does not. Can I find it somewhere else ?
thanks
you are looking at the right place. In document properties in the first block are all the file related infos.
in your case "Name and location
Hello Kramming; I Don't know if this will help, but if you do a search for the file in Windows it should show it to you then you can look at the file properties for the address. What I have done is made dir.'s called Clients and another called Art on a Hard drive In each one of those I have made dir. 0-9 and A-Z for storing of files it saves me a lot of time If I need to find or open a clients drawing, and if I need something like a tree I go to the art and look in the T's
I Hope This Will Help You.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes I would have though that and thanks for confirming, however oddly on that screen, if we are talking about the same one from within Photo Paint, Files > Document Properties, all that is listed at item are ;
Title, Subject, Author, Copyright, Keyword, Notes and then under that Document with all the details about name width height etc etc, No Path / Location anywhere.
cheers
Thanks for the detailed suggestion SignGuy, yes for the most part I also have as you suggested the various directories for projects. I am mainly in programming and have a lot of various apps across a few platforms. All my apps have their own source folders. I then also have other folders for docs related to the apps in a Docs folder and correlated bu t these are in different partitions. Perhaps that's where I need to tidy things up a bit and will take on your suggestions.
What Operating System are you using? I think what you are needing is in Folder Options under View.
