In the pas, there was somebody who wrote script o edit bitmaps in Photoshop instead of photopaint.
This script in legacy worked until corel X6 64bit, now on X7 it's stopped working.
Is there any other way to make photoshop as default bitmap editing program?
Hello dunkel; You can set what program opens a file by setting that type of file opens it in Windows.

George, that's not exactly what she's talking about. Yes, you can do what you suggested but you won't be able to just hit edit bitmap in CD and have it go to photoshop make your changes then hit save and return to CD with the image updated. Using that macro works good in X4 but I haven't tried it in X7 yet. I'm fine with just using photopaint.
How to reatach link with Corel Photo Paint x7?
I can't edit in PP
Hello Erik; CorelDRAW can be SETUP so that you can double click a raster image and have it open in PP or you can click on the Edit flag that is on the menu. They both work here in the 64 bit ver. If you are trying to get a raster file to open in PP, go to where the file is stored and right click it, then tell it to use PP. ( Screen Shot Below )
If you go to File / import and choose "import as extenally linked image" you can edit the image with Photoshop, PaintShopPro, or the program you want, using the Links docker
