I have successfully changed the color and style of all the lines in my drawing except for a few. When I select the lines and go to the 'outline' section of 'object properties' it says that the line is the color and style that i want it to be, but on the picture itlself it is still just a solid black line?
earlier someone on the forum had recommended i change my view from 'wireframe' to 'normal' because i was having troubles with line styles and filling in objects. i assume there is some other lock on a layer or something? any thoughts!?

Wireframe is the usual reason, but it applies to all objects in the design not just to some of them.
What does the status line (bottom left of screen) show when you select one of those objects?
