Hello Everyone, Just joined w/first question 'cuz I have trouble w/Win 7 install

Hello Everyone, Just joined so my first question is - The box my CorelDraw came in years ago just says, "Corel Draw 8" - not X8 - so is this the correct forum?

You're currently posting in the X7 form. But you're close enough. Corel 8 is not the same as X8. Is your question whether or not Corel 8 will work with Win 7?

Thanks for the reply!

I am finally upgrading to a Win7 computer and when I try to capture, the screen goes/white w/a small window in the top left. I also get an error message on boot up that says MEM_BAD_HANDLE. I tried to post a photo of the error message here.

"upgrading" your current pc or starting with a new one? If upgrading your current one from XP I'd suggest completely wiping it then install win 7. Or are you installing corel (version?) to your new win 7 pc?

Hi Myron,
I am working w/a new to me computer that came wiped clean as surplus from a local university. The Win 7 OS is their re-install after they wiped it. My Corel Draw is version 8 from when I worked at another university in 1998 to 2000.
