I have CorelDraw 11 and I am useing the PhotoPaint in it.
If I open am Image that has a somewhat Black Background I do this.
I use the Lasso Tool and Cut what I want and past it into CorelDraw work Space.
And then I can always Dabble click the image in the CorelDraw workspace and it re opens it in PhotoPaint and I can use the wand Tool to remove anything from the Image I do not want.
And I do have the Tab Display Mask Merquery selected.
But I can always see an Outline of the Parts I remove.
So I would gess I have to set my Father to Zero for my Laso Tool.
But I do not see any Father setting????
You will find it under Mask > Mask Outline > Feather on the main Menu Toolbar.
Thank you for getting back to me.
I set Father to Zero but when I Cut a Part of my Image with my Laso Tool and import it into CorelDraw Work space and then get rid of diferant Colors it leaves a Doted Outlione.
This is what I was doing I would open an Imag in Photopaint and then Cut a part out with the Lasso Tool.
So this would be a Mask and I would Import it into CorelDraw work space.
Then I would Dabble click on the Image I just Imported and it would re open it in PhotoPaint.
Then I woulkd use Magic Wand to get rid of diferant colors.
But now when I do this it just Leaves a Dotted Outline .?
Hello biferi; When you bring the pic. back into Draw try using the Eraser Tool on the out line.

Set the feather to a greater number, such as 5 or 6!
Also......(this is something I need to do frequently) is invert the mask, select the eraser tool in PhotoPaint, click the picture with the eraser tool, then hit the delete key once or twice, this removes any "residue" left from the mask. Note: you must select the eraser and click before hitting the Delete Key!
In most cases I find it simple to select what I want, copy, past as new object, delete background. Add new object with solid contrast color in the background and fix my pasted selection. Doing it this way you don't get all that junk you are talking about and once you are done, you are done.
