I've used CorelDraw since I first got v6 bundled with WordPerfect Office 7 many, many years ago but this is the first time I've needed to use it to produce lables (I've previously used a word processor for that). The graphics I need to print lose something when exported from CorelDraw and so I'm trying to set up a custom label specification to match my DECAdry 4731 label sheets, which are 7 rows of 3 columns (i.e. 21 labels per sheet) on A4. Unfortunately, CorelDraw doesn't seem to provide a way to set the sheet size to A4 and so, as the sheet size seems hardcoded to a US size, I'm stuck.
I'm hoping I've missed something or there's a registry hack I can use. FWIW, I never use US letter or legal sizes and so I have no problem if the fix for my issue prevents the use of those US sizes.
Here's hoping that someone knows how to set the sheet size for labels and can help,
Geoff
It has been awhile since I used Draw 10 and I no longer have it installed. The examples are from X3, but memory tells me they are the same in Corel 10. Open Draw. Corel is not locked, it uses your printer settings. Go to File Tab > Print Setup; this should open you Default printer setting. Choose Properties and and change your paper size to A4. Click OK and Ok again.
Next go to the Layout Tab, Select Page Setup, Click on the Labels Button and then labels in the Right Window and Labels in the Option List.
Next select Custom label and fill in the label size and other parameters.... or save yourself a lot trouble and find an existing label set that will work. For the label you mentioned use Avery Ink A4 -- C2160 or J8160 or J8360. (See above). They should all the same as and the same parameters as the DECAdry 4731.

Many thanks for the pointer in the right direction. Playing around a bit suggests that the sheet size for each label is hardwired 'under the hood' and doesn't depend on the printer settngs. So it was necessary to select an existing A4 sheet to customize, but unfortunately all the ones I'd tried were based on US sizes. Once the penny had dropped, I managed to create what I needed by customizing one of the Avery Laser A4 specifications.
Again, many thanks.

I stand corrected and apologize for my mistake.
Glad you got it worked out.
Ouch! An apology isn't necessary and I apologize if my post came across in any way as a criticism. As you wrote, you no longer have CD10 installed and were working from X3.
I only mentioned that it was necessary to base a custom label sheet on an existing one of the correct page size because I know others have had the same issue as me (I found two unanswered pleas for help while searching for a solution before posting here). So my posting that information was intended to help others who stumble upon this thread while trying to resolve the same issue.
You have my gratitude and thanks as without your help I wouldn't now have a sheet of labels and still wouldn't be able to get one of my products 'out of the door'!
Thanks again,

No problem Geoff. I did not think you were being critical, only stating a condition. Your assessment of the page size being connected to the label sheet is spot on. Also true for X3 and X4, by the way. I am happy to hear that my little contribution helped you get the job out the door. Most of this site is users helping users and run by Corel. Pay it forward so to speak. We all learn from each other.
Hope you have a great week
You can always make Custom size page (in this case 29,7x21 cm for A4) and on it design you wish (labels)...
