Main 3D editing functions missing from menu in CorelCAD2015 Pattern3D, Align3D, Mirror3D and Rotate3D

Several key 3D functions appear to have been deleted from the menu system in CorelCAD 2015 which are critical to 3D operations, and one which cannot be worked around with 2D commands.

These include;

pattern3d

mirror3d

rotate3d

align3d

While three of them can be used with 2D commands ( although the effect is different, it does work ) pattern and pattern3D are functionally different and cannot be used instead of each other - As such, it is critical that anyone needing to make 3D patterns ( common function ) remember the pattern3D command and type it in manually -

THIS IS A FUNCTIONAL WORKAROUND.

These used to show up on a menu item between DRAW and SOLIDEDITING under SOLIDS on the menu - They no longer appear accessible under CorelCAD 2015.

  • Hi David,

    the commands should still be accessible in CorelCAD 2015 as with the previous version of CorelCAD.

    In the "3D Modeling" Ribbon UI workspace on Windows you'll find them in the Home tab:

    In the classic UI on Windows and on Mac OS X you will find those tools in the Modify menu as "3D operations".

    Best regards,
    Klaus.
