CorelCAD Errors in "Inside CorelCAD - 2015 Edition"?

Errors in "Inside CorelCAD - 2015 Edition"?

So I have CorelCAD 2016 but no eBook available for it so i bought the 2015 version eBook. I assume most things function the same way.

Page 50 and 55 of this book tell me to specify cylindrical coordinates as follows:

"x,y<a indicates cylindrical coordinates"

That won't work. I checked in the Help files and it correctly told me to specify cylindrical coordinates as:

x<a,z (distance,<angle,z-coordinate)

This does work.

So is the eBook simply wrong or did this change between 2015 and 2016 versions? If so will this eBook prove to be inaccurate for users of 2016?

If it is just a mistake in the book, who can I report the error to?

I have CorelCad 2015 and he help files say the same method as your 2016.

Seems the eBook is wrong.
I'm thinking purchasing the book. Do you find it helpful and worth the $49?

I haven't been through the whole book yet but it does seem helpful. I don't know if it's really worth $49 but there are few other resources for CorelCAD so i went ahead and got it. Hopefully the book is not riddled with mistakes. I think it should be included with the software. Corel usually gives a lot of bonuses with all of their other software. CorelDRAW comes with nice fat hard copy books.

I did write the author and he replied quickly. He also said he will soon start writing a 2016 specific book will not have many differences. Thanks.

I agree the eBook should be free. I'm a long time user of CorelDraw which is well documented with videos, etc. Looks like we're the only active users on this forum. I'm surprised Corel doesn't monitor it and chime in on the discussions more. It would be a great support path for CorelCad users.
