Hi all, ( or anyone ) - Can someone please verify the following bug in CorelCAD 2017 ? Because this can't be reproduced in a saved file, I'll detail the method to reproduce the fault as I'm seeing it.
Method.
1. Select 3D viewpoint. Draw a box.
2. Select "Extrude Face" - Select a face on the box. The perimeter of that face will become a dotted line. This is normal behavior.
3. Select Views - (_SHADEVIEW) then G (Gourad, solid view). You'll see a solid box.
4. Select Views - (_SHADEVIEW) then 3 (3D view) - You'll see the normal 3D view of the box.
5. Select "Extrude Face" - Select a face on the box. Faces can no longer be selected. some faces *might* be selectable, but they will not show and in any case, the program won't work now.
Workaround: Save the file with a different name, reload the file, Select face. The different name isn't required to resolve the issue, but is required to avoid possible loss of data.
Problem with workaround: Backout history is now lost. Can no longer back out changes to the saved file. This is a problem, and means that multiple files must be saved each time this occurs.
