hi i am running digital and offset press here..
using a lot of macros in my regular life and maximum are purchased
is there any way my staff member can also use macros on office system but no one can able to copy or find orignal file of macro on it for themself because maximum are purchased and i dont want to share with them?
This really sounds to me like an IT issue. User access to software and folders as well as setting security profiles for users would resolve this issue. The problem I see in trying to secure the macros from the macro itself is once some gets access to the macro, they can simply copy and edit the macro lines of code that make it secure. You need to have IT lock down both your user profile folders and the Corel program folders. If you have Admin rights on your system, you should be able to deny access to certain folders to other users of your system.
Try this...
1. cover the trustworthy operators monitor with 3M VHB bonded titanium sheet that's selectively cnc engineered. Display area = user "feedback" area only.
2. On the desk install two button's. These are linked to a dry contact volt free switch and the said buttons activate the said macro.
a. one push button on left reads:
" run macro " (green)
b. one on right reads "your fired" (red)
result:you may well see the staff that want to leave ( before your macro is hackable ).
Better be a good macro; mouse made redundant (tm)
I believe that you'll find that for full function CorelDraw requires the user to be signed on the local system as an administrator. Either you're an administrator or you're not so limiting access to files that run on the local system is going to be really tricky to impossible.
