Hello All,
I programmed some c# macros, i would like to use them on a other computer also running the same corel version. When i import them there i get an error from windows sdk. Does anyone know what is needed to use vsta macros on computers without a full visual studio version? I do not have to edit them only run.
thanks in advance,
Tom
After installing and reinstalling visual studio community and vsta tools. And reinstalling the macro part of coreldraw i managed to run a macro.
Unfortunately my macro still did not work. But now i copy pasted my script from my file to the default in corel and that worked. its strange workaround but it at least works ;-) Thanks for all the suggestions.
I am not sure I understand what ou say...
When do you say it worked? When you pasted your file on the same (default location) of the other computer?
If yes, what did you expected? To run it from wherever and Corel to accept it like something to control it?
Off course i do not just copy the files. In the macro manager i import and export the files to usb.
Since the vsta worked i could open the macro.cs files and copy the code from on file to the other. that did the trick.
I then tried to export the working file to usb and load it again into my main computer where i originally made the macro and that worked, since then i can also alter the code on my main computer export it and import it back to the second computer. So finally everything works, next task is to find a way to make an interface in vsta.
