There is a function in the api called RemoveOverlaps, which seeks for overlaps in one curve. Is there a way to use this function over multiple curves from multiple shapes?
In short i try to remove double lines in my drawing soo my lasercutter does not cut that line twice.
Thanks
This is probably of no help but I do think there is a forum discussion about this somewhere. Maybe under "Myron's" stuff? I could be wrong but I feel like I've come across this before.
If i look at myron and removeoverlaps it does not give results ;-( But thanks i'll try to search more.
It's actually a problem I need to resolve soon for the very same reason. I have a basic working version but it's old and only removes exact copies of segments, which isn't robust enough for a lot of the awful artwork we receive. If you can wait a few weeks I'll be happy to share the final macro with you.
FWIW, e-cut is a commercial macro, but it has a feature to solve your problem:

That is indeed what we are looking for.
But we are a non profit lab so paying 60$ for each computer we use it on is a bit to much ;-)
