In older versions of CorelDRAW, to avoid unwanted sharp points in contours created with the Contour tool, I would first round the corners of my original shape in the Fillet/Scallop/Chamfer docker using a very small radius value, before I applied the contour effect to that shape.  The result would be perfectly rounded contour corners.  In CorelDRAW X6, however, the new Contour corners control, available on the property bar when you select the Contour tool, allows you to quickly round or bevel the corners of your contour.  Pretty cool, huh?

  • Hello, I would like to ask a question if you're still there. How to apply any effect (round, scallopt, chamfered) to the corners of a shape but only to few angles of it, not for all?
