I'm trying to print a jpg image of a photograph in Photopaint, which has a document colour profile of sRGB IEC61966-2.1, on Epson Ultra Glossy Paper. My question is this; where the print setup says "correct colors using color profile ....", should I select sRGB IEC61966-2.1 in order to match the document, or Epson Ultra Glossy Paper in order to match the paper?
Thanks
In the CorelDRAW print dialog? We need screen captures of the print dialogs.
Thanks for the reply, David, hopefully these will help;
I would set rendering to perceptual, also set everything to sRGB and give that a try. Also there should be dialogs for the printer also
I tried sRGB the results were good, but not great, and there must be a way to use specific paper profiles, else why even have them? I've also tried various other settings, but never to a clearly great effect It's really frustrating that neither Epson nor Corel see fit to clearly lay out the method for what seems such an obvious need. I've uploaded a couple more dialog shots. Thanks again.
Your second capture of the more options tab shows that the printer is set for no color correction. I'd try setting that to ICM. However in the very first capture in Draw you told the printer to handle conversions.
