I'm trying to print a jpg image of a photograph in Photopaint, which has a document colour profile of sRGB IEC61966-2.1, on Epson Ultra Glossy Paper. My question is this; where the print setup says "correct colors using color profile ....", should I select sRGB IEC61966-2.1 in order to match the document, or Epson Ultra Glossy Paper in order to match the paper?
Thanks
I spent a day trying all manner of combinations yesterday, to limited avail. The approach that seems most logical seems to tell the first dialog to let Corel handle it, select the correct paper profiler in the Corel dialog, then select either ICM or No Color Adjustment in the Epson dialog, but neither of those worked well. The best (though not perfect) result is telling Corel to let the printer handle it, then putting the printer on Automatic, but that means there's no way of using profiles for third party papers. I can't help thinking I'm missing something, but m running out of enthusiasm, not to mention ink and paper!
I would try letting the printer handle the conversion, set rendering to perceptual, select the Epson profile for the paper. Set printer to ICM
You could also let Corel handle the conversion, set perceptual, and select the Epson profile for the paper. Set printer to ICM.
