I can't invert a B&W vector shape. The Effects | Transform | Invert Colors command is grayed out.
Any ideas?
And let's not forget that "invert colors" is not the same as "swap colors"
Yellow inverted becomes blue and green inverted becomes magenta.
I've never even used that transformation before. Interesting to know it's available though.
Yes, that's it. I changed the text to cmyk and it inverted. Having trouble with the boat though. Selected all of the parts and tried to do the fill and outline to cmyk but still it won't invert. I think if there is 1 part still spot color, the whole boat won't invert.
This .ZIP file has a .CDR file in it with three versions of that graphic.
inverted boat, three versions.zip
True that you can not use Invert on spot colors, which is logical and as expected.Best way to make all objects CMYK is to use Edit > Find and Replace > Replace Objects....and then "Replace a color model or palette".
Thanks for the tip. I'll try that out.
