I work with about 5 other designers. I have CorelDRAW 2018, some guys have 2019 and one guy has just loaded a 2020 subscription. Is there an option for the guys using 2019 and 2020 so that they can automatically save down to 2018 by default rather than having to select 2018 during a Saveas?
None of us do anything fancy that requires any extra features that may have been added to 2019 or 2020. We are looking for a solution so that we can share files.
I know I've seen macros to do that, but I've never used them.
I think that GDG macros sells one.
the YinkaMacs macro has this function and is free

it's a very good macro
I've sent an email to Yinkamacs asking for where the download link is. I don't see it on that site. That is my first challenge, just getting the macro. Then I will read up about installing macros and running them, since I haven't tried any of that.
it's under the page

Yes, I'm realizing the problem. I did follow three deep the blue download buttons to where I could download the file. But that was only when I was using my linux computer off the company network. it does allow me to download the .exe file.
But since we are all working from home the company I work for is increasingly locking down the network, and I found on my work computer on the company network it doesn't allow me to download that same file.
Tried sending it to myself from my home computer to work and it blocks the attachment. Also tried a file sharing cloud drive with no success. Working around that any further isn't going to be worth it, and the IT department is not going to stick their necks out to help me get around the wall. Oh well.
Maybe I'll learn how to make the macro myself. That'd be a good project.
