I just got a Cricut a few days ago and I have had multiple issues with SVG conversion. Thus far my two issues have been with Bitmap errors and non-RGB color errors. My neighbor uses Corel all the time for his conversions so I know that it works - he even demonstrated on my computer once - but I need to figure out how to do this without his help. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
You're talking two different languages. Svg files refer to vector and images/bitmaps are raster. If you're thinking your're converting a raster file to vector simply by saving/exporting it as an svg, you're mistaken. That's not how it's done. I'm not familiar with the Cricut software but I know it can only cut vector files. If you're trying to include a raster image into the design it can be down but you'll first have to do an auto trace of the the image to establish a cut line.
