Available dark Theme (color difference is too contrasting)
Request Theme (eye catching / comfortable to look at)
isn't the opposite?
This means you don't like changes, updates and current.
No the printing industry paid over $3 million on a multi year study and provided guidelines for work and desktop environments and so called designers ands software publishers have ignored it. Today color looks like crap!
I believe it could be nice to allows to choose the tone of each element, something similar to old Windows (maybe somebody want a tone of gray different)
Ariel the problem is that the desktop display is a tool not entertainment and the reality is that the contrast levels of the surrounding elements effects the users ability to control their color adjustments. In the case for web work it's not as critical as it is for print because the work is only ever viewed on a display and almost always in a browser which is JUST AWFUL to start with. Once you get into color for high end digital or press work it's a new game. NEUTRAL GRAY s a must. I use neutral gray work space, a work environment with heavy drapes on the windows, 5,000 Kelvin lighting and a calibrated display. It pays off!
