When I rename the colour PerfCutContour and change it to Spot, the components still read 100% Cyan. Therefore Versaworks does not read it as a PerfCutContour but just the colour Cyan.
If the color is correctly named and truly is a spot color then I guess VersaWorks should also recognize it as such, no matter what color it is built up from.Do you use PDF to send it to VersaWorks? If so, make sure "Native" is selected under the Color tab in the export settings, and "Convert spot colors to" is unchecked.
Thanks Ronny
Versaworks still doesn't recognise PerfCutContour.
If you use PDF to send to VersaWorks, reimport the PDF to Draw and check to see whether the PerCutContour is still a spot, or if it has been converted to CMYK or RGB for some reason.Attached is a PDF where the outline is a spot color created to work with VersaWorks (I hope).Check to see what happens. If it works, you should be able to import the PDF to Draw and then drag the outline color to your Roland palette for future use.

Tried the pdf in Versaworks PerfCutContour worked perfect, imported pdf to draw dragged outline color to Roland pallette, tried again in Versaworks solid line not a PerfCutContour. Dragged PerfCutContour says components 100% Cyan.
Make sure in you colour settings that Import & Paste are set to Use Embeded Profile.
Glad that my file worked but I find it strange that you could not use it to create a usable color swatch. When you import my file in Draw, is the outline still a 100% spot color named CutPerfContour?Maybe there is a conflict with the old color that you had in your palette, since they share the same name and possibly also color components?Try removing the old color before you import my file.
I updated Microsoft Visual C++ (64bit) PerfCutContour works perfect in Versaworks. Thanks for your help.
Hi Ronny, Sorry to invade your reply, but I'm new here and I can't figure out how to post a question. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried the search bar with no help.
