I'm have trouble with some of my saved jobs where when I open the file, the font is not loading correctly. Parts of the text will be bold and others won't, or the same line of text will have 2 different fonts. You can see it in the image below.
You can see the F in Fort is not bold like the rest and the 2023 is in 2 different fonts.
It sounds like the issue is not with your saved job itself but with missing or mismatched fonts on your system. If the font used in your file isn’t installed correctly, the program will sometimes substitute it or mix styles, which is why parts of the text look different. Try reinstalling the fonts you used in that file or convert the text to curves/outlines before saving so the design doesn’t depend on the installed font.
If you want a quick way to explore or generate stylish fonts online for testing, you can also check out Unitextify, it lets you try out different text styles easily.
Hi @nwengravers, the font issues in CorelDRAW 2019 are often caused by missing, mismatched, or conflicting fonts when opening files created on another system or version. Even if the font appears installed, CorelDRAW can partially substitute styles, leading to inconsistencies like some text appearing bold while other parts do not. To fix this, ensure the exact font versions are installed, remove any duplicate or conflicting fonts, and use the Text > Replace Fonts feature to correct inconsistencies across the document. Additionally, embedding fonts in templates or shared files can help maintain consistent formatting between different users and systems.
