The link manager of the 2019 version of CorelDraw has many problems, starting with the inability to cancel a hyperlink assigned to some object (if they changed the way to do so it was not clear). But perhaps the most disturbing problem is the mess it makes when you have many objects with different links in the same document. At the time that a PDF is exported, the links are all changed between the objects, a link that was on one object goes to another and ends up becoming a total mess. Even without exporting the PDF, only the act of saving and closing the file is enough for the next time you open it to be the same mess. Not even in Update 2 this has been resolved.
The link process in CorelDRAW any version has been broken for many years.
I have been racking my brain as to how to keep documents to ballon in size if they contain many imported image files. I am occasionnal CorelDraw user. The above comment is so discouraging...I wonder if there is an alternative to linking external files? And if there are some occasional-user-friendly instructions anywhere.
You can properly set the resolution of imported images in Draw based on their destination
oooooh. How do I do that? Just a tip on what to google/would be appreciated
Just resample the bitmap in Draw. Use 300 for print, 100 for digital.
