In X5 and X7 I was able to..
The result was object 2 moving to the exact X and Y position as object 1.
Using the same process but at step 2 single clicking in either the width or height the result was object 2 was resized.
In 2019 this is not happening, which is extremely frustrating as I used this feature all day every day. I do not recall turning the feature on in X5 or X7 it just worked. Is there a feature I need to turn on or has this been completely removed?

Would you be willing to share any comments about which changes to the Object Manager in 2019 were making it less usable for your work?
Is it limited to losing the ability to quickly transfer size or position information from one object to another, as described in your opening post? Or are there other changes that don't work well for you?
Our X7 installs have been pretty solid and our v2017 aren't too bad either...BUT... v2019 (2 updates) CRASH constantly and is a totally different story.. v2019 is ALPHA stage software... that is real bad.
We won't be returning our v2019 UPGRADES though...they will just sit on the shelf as we also had to purchase Upgrade Protection for each seat also. This way we won't be paying $499 for EACH SEAT after Corel NO LONGER offers upgrade pricing DEC 1 2019.
So initially instead of paying roughly $199+$99=$298 for EACH seat and get the next v2020 version when it comes out VERSUS not paying any of this, then having to pay $499 for FULL VERSION for each seat, then after that $99 per year for Upgrade Protection. Basically if you want to move from X7 to "HOPEFULLY" a PROPERLY working v2020... then shell out $499, then if you wan't Upgrade Protection, then $99 more equals $598 "initially" each seat! then $99 yearly. i.e. 10 years = $990. Most people only upgrade every 3 years or so... which is roughly $600 over roughly a 10 year span. SO your paying about DOUBLE with the $99 Upgrade Protection route.
I do NOT like any of this, but Corel leaves us no option or to go elsewhere which is now a major consideration factor especially with 2 updates late, year almost up shortly and v2019 STILL CRASHES CONSTANTLY among other problems...the BIGGEST problem is the CRASHING. The other problems don't matter if the software cannot stay running to even use them.
VERY DISAPPPOINTED in Corel. I have been a LOYAL user since DAY 1 since 1989!!! THAT'S 30 YEARS!!!!
FIX WHAT YA BROKE!!!!!!
