More of a suggestion / request though…Am requesting that chamfer corner properties are more effective if they were to be applied as an effect. This would result in easier and faster edits.

It is a serious shortcoming in CorelDRAW that curves in general (not rectangles) do not have "live" fillets, chamfers, etc. where two line segments meet. When you apply a fillet, chamfer, etc., CorelDRAW just cooks up the appropriate Bézier curve. So, it may look OK, but it is not "editable" as a fillet, chamfer, etc.
Thank you Eskimo. It would make a lot of sense if the same algorithm used on rectangle chamfer could be applied onto curves.
