I am new around here and new to CorelDRAW as well.
i am using CorelDRAW X8 and i have a bit of a trimming issue, so every time i trim with a basic square, the shape of the square completely disappears.
what i am trying to do. is keep the other part of the square that wasn't trimmed.
Any help would be appreciated.
thank you !
Open the Shaping Docker and go to Trim and use these settings. Screen Cap Attached
i tried that and it didn't work, the most interesting part is if i used other shapes it is working perfectly
Looks like the target object in your first screenshot (trimming with square) is an open curve. If it is, trimming will simply remove that part of the curve, not reshape it.
Well as far as i can tell, it is not a open curve.
I have attached the whole shape to the image below, Any Idea how i can resolve this Open Curve issue ?
For anyone looking for the solution, all i had to do is use the joint curves tool located in Object
Thanks for your answers !
