On launch I get a message asking to reconnect the device that has the file location...

Hi everyone.

So I installed my copy of CorelDraw 2020 Education version. My good old MacBook Pro runs High Sierra. Previously I had CorelDraw Graphic Suite 2020 trial running perfectly on the same machine. When I try to run CorelDraw or Photo-Paint I get message asking to reconnect the device that has the file location... I click OK and the next message says that I should either restart the computer and try launching again or reinstalling the app.

I tried restarting, reinstalling but nothing helps. I have no idea what to do...

  • I notice this is an old thread so hopefully you've already solved it, but this thread popped up as unread now for some reason.

Anyway, I only have the Windows version so I'm not sure, but check the file locations in Options > Global > File Locations.
Maybe they are pointing to a folder that no longer exists.
