I have a large graphic (map) that I need to print to specific sections at a time.
Is it possible to lock/move the print area to a specific sections of the graphic, rather than move the entire graphic to fit into the print area?
How are you printing? Driver based, RIP based?
Not sure - I print using the normal printer process.
From other programs I've used, i'd expect it is less to do with the printer and more with the UI. I was hoping there was a print frame window that could be moved to that specific section of the graphic as required, rather than anything to do with the process of actually printing... hope that makes sense.
What page size do you print to? What machine?
Page size differs depending on which specific map I'm pdf'ing to.
My standard long format page size is 880mm x 215mm, but others up to 2700mm x 300mm.
To-date I set the page size, then ctrl+A all 50,000 vectors, then drag entire graphic to how I want it set on the pdf, then I publish to pdf.
Given the graphic has about 35 layers some locked, some non-printable, it is not ideal to be mucking around with the whole map as a single selection as each 'select all' to move each tome then relock etc... Also it is a lot of processing for my poor little laptop and has been know to crash if I have too much other stuff on at the same time.
Actual printing is through Adobe print dialogue.

So that I understand better what you are doing here...
Are you using CorelDRAW's "publish to PDF" capabilities? Or are you using CorelDRAW's "Print..." dialog, and then selecting Adobe PDF as the printer (i.e., letting Adobe code act as a printer to produce the PDF content)?
