I've used corel draw for windows and never had this issue. This time I have it on a mac. I can copy and paste images/figures etc in my document. However, when I want to copy values (ie. X, Y location values) and paste it on another image to move that image to the X Y coordinates. It doesn't allow me. It doesn't copy and paste using the short cuts. Any idea if I need to configure anything?
To give you an example. I can copy and paste 2 figures (A and B) in my document. Now I want to move Figure B to the same X coordinate of Figure A. Instead of just typing it manually in the X value box. I want to copy the value from the X box of Figure A and paste it in the X box of Figure B. This doesn't work. I can't copy or paste whether its through the keyboard short cuts or whether it's from the drop down menu.
Why not just select shape B, shift select shape A, then hit c & e?
Because I didn't know such a short cut existed!!! Life changing!! lol Now the question is what other shortcuts exisit?! Thank you so much!!
I would start by looking at the tools CorelDRAW provides for aligning and distributing shapes, and understanding how they work.
Then, learn keyboard shortcuts for operations that you perform frequently.
