I understand the Versaworks spot color for contour cut. I understand the contour button on the program. However, I can not figure how to constrict the cutline so I dont need bleed with artwork. On my other software I can tell it to go -.001 offset for example. This technique also helps with pixelated edges of items.
I tried the Chat or send ticket, but it NEVER works for Corel. Hopefully, you here can point me in the right direction.
Not just Flexi, but Even this $83 software has this feature. See the neg radius in the top left.
My understanding would be by using this method the outcome would actually be smaller than intended. In your example the text would NOT be as bold as it was originally.
If it's a vector shape I'd duplicate the shape (hit + using the calculator keypad), remove the fill and add an outline, use the contour tool to set inside at .03. with round corners then break apart and delete the outer outline. All of this can be done with a macro and added to the workspace as an icon for an easy 1-click operation. I use something similar to create my cut lines and bleed with 1-click.
A raster shape would be a little more difficult but it can be done.
