I understand the Versaworks spot color for contour cut. I understand the contour button on the program. However, I can not figure how to constrict the cutline so I dont need bleed with artwork. On my other software I can tell it to go -.001 offset for example. This technique also helps with pixelated edges of items.
I tried the Chat or send ticket, but it NEVER works for Corel. Hopefully, you here can point me in the right direction.
Seems to work here only .025mm
Doing it is not the issue, doing it in a 1 click environment is I believe what the OP wants.
How much value it has is user dependent and has none for me.
Not necessarily a 1 click however it would be nice.
Have you looked at my post earlier in this thread, where I describe how I would do this manually in CorelDRAW?
If what I describe there produces the type of result you are looking for, then we can take the conversation further in the direction of making the process more automated.
In my version the blue is only changed to show the separation, the contour can be filled the same as the control, the outline as I've shown is set to CutContour and there's no need to break it apart. A simple native color PDF would work but it's still multiple steps.
FWIW, here is a small macro that I think Hendrik Wagenaar (a former Corel developer) provided many years ago.It has a simple dialog and works pretty much as a simplified Contour macro.Could be the one step solution you are looking for.ExpandReduce.zip
Noticed now that this is that Mac section so maybe the macro won't work for you.
