Did any of you receive the BS marketing letter that listed the article and section of their agreement that basically says we can do anything we want, then they list the article and paragraph where you can objects but the previous article means so what. They're rolling into MyFonts.com , oh well another one bites the dust!
MyFonts has been a subsidiary of Monotype Imaging for over a decade.
Monotype Imaging has owned Linotype since 2007. They, or rather the investors behind them all, are consolidating websites, branding, etc., etc. They have all been pretty redundant--with the exception of schizoid pricing for the same fonts being sold by one or another publisher.
This graphic was out of date the day someone posted it on Type Drawers.
I've been hearing consolidating since I started my company over 31 years ago. That day there was 144 print shops in a 20 mile radius,, now there's 15 and you can hardly buy quality printing.
