I have the full version of Corel Graphics Suite 2021. The only thing I'm missing is the ability to open or export webp format photos for the web.
A couple weeks ago I got a special offer for $349 for Corel Graphics Suites 2023... the only feature that I would be using right now would be the webp support of photopaint 2023 vs. photopaint 2021 which doesn't have it, so kind of expensive, but I thought today that would be worth doing, but offer is no longer valid. Now it's $549, so a bit much since that's all I'm after right now.
Any other ways to add webp support?
Would paint shop pro ($69) be an easy change from photopaint 2021? I've been using photopaint since the 90s, so I'm a bit set in my ways!
I take it photopaint isn't sold as a standalone? Probably not, but that would be nice...
I wonder how long it will be until graphics suite 2024 is out? Kind of hesitant to buy 2023 right now since it would probably then be another $549 for 2024 right around the corner....
Based on previous releases I guess version 2024 will be released in March or maybe April.
Thanks Ronny. I'll be watching for it. Will be interested to see new features. I'm not using draw as much as I did in the past now that so much as moved to cell phone screens and css; I miss the days in the past when I would spend hours and hours in draw doing layouts, but I still like having nice tools on hand in case I get an inspiration to do something fun!
I wonder if there will be another sale on 2023 before the 2024 version is released?
Are there any hints on what will be new in the 2024 version?
Until you get an updated version of CGS as a workaround you can open WEBP files in Windows Paint and save as JPG/PNG/TIF.
WEBP files are supported in 2023 subscription.
