A few days ago, when I opened Corel (I'm a subscriber) I saw that a message appeared "reconnect the device on which the file is located...". Since I had a lot of work in progress, I ignored the message and kept working.
However, the day before yesterday, Corel stopped opening cdr files, jobs I was working on. I contacted Support, we did several "maneuvers", but nothing worked. I tried to restore the installation, but it didn't work.
Guided by Support again, I uninstalled the entire suite, including Corel Graphics - Windows Shell Extension and Ghostscript GPL 8.64, I restarted the machine and reinstalled Corel.
The program "works", I can work on it, but I can't open any ready-made cdr files!! In other words, 15 years of work are inaccessible - and I need a lot of them.
Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestion on what to do?
