My company develops embroidery and hotfix design software (Stitch Era/Hotfix Era) that connects to CorelDraw via Automation for many years, on Windows platform.
Customers who have CorelDraw Graphic Suite 2023 with Permanent License (v24.5.0.731) have reported to us that our software stopped connecting to CorelDraw. Reviewing the registry of your PCs, we see that the executable associated with the AppID "CorelDraw.Application" is CorelDRW.exe, but this file does not exist in your installation! It has apparently been replaced by DrawPE.exe. However, in the registry there are still references to CorelDrw.exe.This change that you have made, we do not understand if it is a bug or if it is on purpose. For the second case, we would need new documentation about how to connect with CorelDraw PE, if there are new Automation objects, if there are new methods, etc.In Corel Developer Area (community.coreldraw.com/.../24.5) we do not see any mention of this change.
Our customers have told us that other software that has Plugins for CorelDraw has the same problem, for example "Cutting Master 5" (www.graphteccorp.com/.../index.html).
Is anyone having the same problem?Can anybody help me?
