Did you use Page Sorter View in CorelDraw before they removed changed it to Page View docker? Those were great times. Why the heck would they fix something that ain't broken???
I believe the Pages docker can do pretty much everything that the old Page Sorter View could. What exactly are you missing?Tip: Make the Pages docker float and assign a shortcut key to easily open/close.
It seems to perform much slower when processing each page. Also, if you rename the page, it does not show in the pages docker. Thanks for the tip though, very cool.
The new view allows you to move copy from one page to another. I'll have to look into its ability to move multiple pages.
The new view allows you to select multiple pages and it will scroll automatically simply by continuing to hold the mouse button once the scroll starts.
In thumbnail preview you can also grab a bunch of pages and move them, it just doesn't have the page names, it does have the numbers, if you use thumbnail preview along with multipage view you have a full-page preview of the page numbers as well as the page numbers and you can move them in the thumbnail preview.
The pages docker works well if people can't adapt that's their problem.

The Pages docker works well, that is true, but if it was meant to replace the Page Sorter View it has to be perfect in every detail. And the fact that you don't understand how to use a specific feature to its full potential, doesn't mean that the rest of us should accept bugs or bad design.
I showed you how to accomplish every task you ask for in the new pages docker and more features using the docker in multi-page view.
It looks different but it does more. Adapt and grow. Yes they changed it and yes it does more, but it has a very minor learning curve.
The original poster asked about the Page Sorter View and was upset because it had been removed.I explained how to use the Pages docker as an almost perfect replacement, something that can be done in a few steps, except that we are no longer able to show the page names. This is either a bug or was simply forgotten when they designed the docker, but I see no reason why we should accept it when it most likely can be corrected without too much hassle. And FYI, I already knew everything you showed regarding multipage view and renaming pages but that is not what this thread is about.
Unnecessary! You can do all you need and far with how it's designed more than the old page sorter. And it's vastly easier to view.
Core provides an improvement and users whine!
I like the Pages docker and it is definitely an improvement, but there is one thing that clearly is a bug or something that has been missed while designing it.You keep defending bugs and lost functionality and I understand why you all of a sudden "had to leave" the beta team.

Don't know why but "keep desktop objects on layer" suddenly pops up in my head. End of discussion.Hope you managed to get something useful out of this thread, grogo.
If I remember correctly, you were the one defending the keep desktop objects on layer debacle. Still a POS implementation 5 versions later.
